Out Of The Corner Of One’s Eyes

“I came up with this Title while watching an Episode of the TV series ‘Castle’. I will sleep for a day and think about the story, and tomorrow, I will start writing some letters. I think the Title is very catchy, and I am interested what I will write” – Cleo Germann, Grenchen, the 12th. March 2025
Chapter 1: No Peace In Our Garden
There was always something Sinister about our Garden.
After Mary’s Death, the Garden slowly started to degrade to its slow, ungrateful end.
What a Fate, I thought.
This Piece of Dirt was her Place of Peace.
It was blooming with Orchids, Roses, and small Ferns and thriving and full of Life.
I Absolutely hated it.
Every single minute of her remaining life, she spent in between those green plants and cared for those little “miracles of life,” as she loved to call them.
After her Sudden cancer-driven death, I buried her corpse between her so loved plants and trees.
Chapter 2: Always Sunny Under The Sun
Always will he remember her Blue Dress that she was buried in.
In the Color of her Favorite Flower, the Orchid.
But as soon as the years drifted in the lands, the sun was rising, and a new dawn began.
He remarried again, a new wife, two lovely children on the way.
And the Corpse has to be gone.
Chapter 3: Opening Graves
As soon as his Pregnant woman went to visit her family in the nearby state, he grabbed a shovel and started to work.
It was a nuisance. The work was hard, the ground firm, and as soon as he was finished, it also started to rain suddenly. What a Poor Day, he thought.
He chose to work through it and dig the corpse out of the grave.
But.
Chapter 4: No Flowers Bloom in the Winter
As soon as he dug out the grave and began opening it, he was shocked that it was empty.
The remainder of his last wife was gone.
Nothing there beside a hollow, empty grave.
It was that dark feeling he couldn’t shake off his bones. Something scary, but he couldn’t word or phrase was it was.
Chapter 5: The Eye of the Beholder
After the return of his wife, his life began to bloom. After she had borne his children, laughter has returned to the empty place he used to call home.
His Wife soon started to work on the Garden, and it was not long until it started to flourish in the old grace it had before Mary’s death.
But something stuck in his head. Something he could never shake off the corner of his eyes.
He always saw something around the corner.
As soon as he turned his head, it was gone.
But even in the nights when he slept, it was there.
Something Sinister.
Something in the Color Blue.
Calling him. And reminding him.
That there was no peace in the Garden.
End.
